SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Write, modify, and maintain application programs and software systems based on detailed technical specifications and user requirements.
* Analyze functional requirements and translate them into program logic, workflows, and coding structures.
* Develop, test, and debug code using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar technologies.
* Perform unit testing and assist in system integration testing to ensure program functionality and reliability.
* Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve software defects, errors, and performance issues through debugging and code analysis.
* Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
* Work with relational databases using SQL to query, update, and manage application data.
* Document program logic, system processes, and technical specifications for maintenance and future development.
* Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage code changes and support collaborative development.
* Assist in deploying applications and provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting.
* Follow established coding standards, development procedures, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts to support application development and maintenance activities.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to security standards.
Eligibility:-
Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
Work Location:
Piscataway, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
